SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Waseda Language School has a scholarship system for students who are academically excellent (grades, attendance rate), highly motivated to learn, and who can be a role model for other students. You can also receive external scholarships through school recommendations.
All scholarships have conditions, so students who wish to apply should study hard. If you have any questions, please contact our school. Please note that the scholarship system is subject to change without notice. Please note.

Waseda Language School In-School Scholarship

Perfect Attendance Award (twice a year) Students of no tardy, absence, and early leaving in a semester (6 months)
Excellent Grade Award (at the graduation) Students who obtained the grades valued “A” on all the subject during all their academic period in the school.
Special Outstanding Performance Award (After each tests) Students who got the perfect score on Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT). (This award began since April 2020.)
A student who got the best score on Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU) including the essay test. (This award began since April 2020.)

External Scholarship (The Scholarship Provided after Making the Enrollment)

> Japan Student Services Organization(JASSO) Monbukagakusho Honors Scholarship (After Entering the University)

Qualification (Conditions when additional application occured) • University enrolled (Graduate school is not applicable)
• Attendance rate more than 90% (April to December of previous year)
• The students with more than 300 points on EJU scores. (In addition, they must take other subject than Japanese as a Foreign Language.)
• Students with excellent grades (more than 2.30 GPA)
• Students whom the sent money from the family is less than 90,000JPY/month.

> Nitori International Scholarship Foundation

Amount 80,000JPY/MTH.
