Course

■We instruct the students to figure out their levels of skill while providing them the information related to graduate school.
■Deciding the graduate schools: We check the students’ specialized field, thesis at the university, research purpose, and determination of research topics. We also instruct and help the students searching the department according to their research topics.
■Completing the research plans: We discuss and find out with the students on the structure of the research plans, writing styles, expressions, research purpose, motivated backgrounds, significance for completing the research plans.
■Having contacts with the professors: We instruct the students on appropriateness of their research plans and laboratories, how to write email, and the manners and courtesy.
■Oral interview preparation: We provide the lessons and interpretation of the interview, honorific (polite expressions) instructions, interview simulations, and actual practices.
■Making logical writing: We instruct the students on writing papers, reports, statement of applications, submitting official documents, and exams.

Eligible applicants:
(1) Four-year university graduate with a bachelor’s degree.
(2) A research student actually exercising on a topic of the research

When the students apply for universities, they must pass at least two exams. The first is Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU), and the second is particular entrance exams for individual universities. The EJU are divided into two major fields: humanities and sciences. The EJU is held in July and November every year. The scores are the information for making decision on choosing students’ universities.
■Humanities subjects: Japanese as a Foreign Language, Japan and the World, Mathematics, and an essay
■Sciences: Japanese as a Foreign Language, Mathematics, physics, chemistry, (biology,) and an essay
Some universities require the scores of English language ability such as TOEFL additionally. Regardless of humanities or science students, the students will have an interview session after taking universities’ paper exams.Waseda Language School instruct the students in detail not only Japanese language but mathematics, physics, chemistry, and Japan and the World subjects to respond enough to these exams. We encourage the students to keep trying to achieve their goals.

Eligible applicants:
High school graduates (finishing the high schools of 12 years education)

In Japan, there are many famous art universities among Asian countries. The art universities in Japan have educated many world-famous designers so far. Because of it, recent years there are increasing numbers of international students focusing on entering the art schools in Japan. So Waseda Language School in Yokohama has opened the art course and done school preparation guidance such as practical art skills and research plans for international students that the goals are to enter art universities and graduate schools. We have doing school preparations with professional art teachers and also inviting excellent instructors who graduated Musashino Art University or Tama Art University.

★As a general rule, if there are less than 10 applicants on the each term, there are no classes held.

Preparatory course for famous professional schools such as Nihon Automobile College of University, Toyota Technical College Tokyo, Kanto Industrial College, Yokohama System Engineering College, BUNKA Fashion College, Tokyo Mode Gakuen, Nihon College of Health and Medical Science, Nihon Kogakuin College, and Ecole de Patisserie de Tokyo.

Mainly we teach the students the employment ability on job finding and to nurture applied skills. The course includes the corporate training, business Japanese, employment aptitude test, Japanese corporation employment overview, self-analysis, and making summary. Then we will do the training on writing resume, business manner, job interview and etc.

★As a general rule, if there are less than 10 applicants on the each term, there are no classes held.

This is the course for not going to enter further education. It is the course that we will train the students Japanese conversation, speech, and expressions intensively by using methods such as various media and repetitive practices.

●Course counseling
After entering the school notifying to all the students about school preparation process and set the goals.Make personal counseling with the classroom teacher at least once a three month.
●School preparation workshop for international students
The students will participate the school preparation workshops held by SANPOU Co., Ltd. and ACCESS GROUP HOLDINGS CO.，LTD.
●Interview test preparation course
Call a guest instructor from Ohara College of Business & Bookkeeping Information at Yokohama. Hold interview test lessons individually if necessary.
●Open campus tour
The students would visit the schools of their interests to do the school tours.

●Specified Skilled Worker (i) measurement test course.
Call a guest instructor from MIC CORPORATION of “food and beverage manufacturing.”
Have a workshop by the company of “caregiving.”
●Interview test preparation course
Call a guest instructor from Ohara College of Business & Bookkeeping Information at Yokohama.
Hold interview test lessons individually if necessary.
